The clear, green waters of the lake and the reflection of the limestone rocks captivate visitors making this a hot spot for camping. With a stunning and picturesque 2000m peaks around, unusual geomorphology, this plateau is mostly known because of the grassy valley and plenty of streams coming from the mountains around. This trail leads us on a Macadam road, beginning with a visit to Captain’s Lake after which we will trek to Manito Lake. Surrounded by grassy and partly rocky areas, Manito Lake is located 40 minutes' by walk from Captain's lake. In the hot summer months you can go for a refreshing swim in the cool, glacial blue green waters of the lake to energise yourself for the trek back.
